Key Responsibilities

• Manage caseload of plaintiff’s personal injury matters from pre-litigation through trial
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Propound and respond to written discovery
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and trials
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense counsel
• Develop case strategy and evaluate liability, damages, and settlement value
• Ensure compliance with Texas procedural rules and court deadlines
• Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and support staff
• Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the litigation process
• Conduct legal research and draft high-quality legal documents

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the State of Texas
• 5+ years of high-volume plaintiff’s personal injury litigation experience
• Proven trial experience required
• Strong knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure
• Experience drafting and arguing motions and handling depositions independently
• Demonstrated ability to manage a large caseload effectively
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical abilities
• Hightly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Commitment to providing outstanding client service
