Personal Injury (Pre-Litigation) Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Act as the client's first point of contact — answering questions, providing updates, offering guidance through medical treatment, reviewing records, and keeping cases moving.
• Think critically and manage a high-volume caseload for a wide range of clients.
• Support and follow processes to succeed at every stage of pre‑litigation work.
• Help build a growing department and make an impact on clients' lives.

Requirements

• At least one year of relevant legal experience (pre‑litigation personal injury experience preferred).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, not required.
• Organized, decisive, and able to manage a high volume of work.
• Comfortable learning new software and systems.
• Genuine interest in providing “above and beyond” client service.
• Candidates without legal experience will be considered for high‑potential fit; please include a cover letter explaining your interest and detailing relevant transferable skills.

Schedule

Full‑time, Monday–Friday, in‑office (downtown Durham or Raleigh). Remote work is not available for this role.
