Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury matters from intake, investigation, and discovery through resolution or trial.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, demand letters, settlement agreements, and other litigation documents.
  • Develop and execute case strategies to maximize recovery for clients, including evaluating liability, damages, and settlement options.
  • Prepare for and take depositions of parties and witnesses; coordinate and prepare expert witnesses for testimony.
  • Represent clients in mediations, settlement conferences, hearings, and trial as needed.
  • Advocate for clients in negotiations with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and third parties.
  • Maintain detailed case files, track deadlines, and manage document production and discovery processes.
  • Provide compassionate, clear communication to clients regarding case status, expectations, and legal options.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, investigators, and outside experts to build and strengthen cases.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience practicing personal injury law with demonstrated litigation skills.
  • Strong familiarity and experience with courtroom procedures, motion practice, and discovery.
  • Required skills: Personal Injury, Litigation.
  • Preferred experience with depositions, mediations, and trial work.
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and client-focused service orientation.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel to courts, mediations, and client meetings as needed.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar in good standing.
