About the role

We are working with a successful plaintiff personal injury litigation firm in the heart of NYC that is seeking an experience plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join the team! The firm focuses on a variety of personal injury cases including construction accidents, car accidents, premises liability, and more. We are seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our litigation team!

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal injury caseload from initial client interview through litigation.
• Draft Bill of Particulars, discovery responses, demands and motions.
• Draft and argue substantive motions, including summary judgment motions.
• Conduct and defend depositions (parties, witnesses, and experts)
• Appear regularly in court for conferences, hearings and oral arguments
• Identify case value drivers and develop litigation strategy to maximize client recovery.

Qualifications

• J.D. and admission to the New York State Bar (in good standing).
• 4+ years of litigation experience at a New York, plaintiff personal injury law firm.
• Exceptional discovery experience
• Adaptable to new technologies and tools; proficient in Microsoft Office
• Deep understanding of CPLR Article 31

Pay

Salary: $125,000 - $225,000 per year
