Personal Injury Lawyer

About the Role

We are seeking a successful and knowledgeable personal injury attorney to work alongside an established team of high-performing professionals. The ideal candidate will manage case files from start to finish and help clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. We need someone with excellent credentials, a real passion for helping people, and a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation and trial case experience.

Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000

Responsibilities

• Research case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case
• Converse with clients, expert witnesses, supporting witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to gather information
• Modify, review, and draft demand letters, pleadings, claims, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
• Manage a team of personal injury paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary
• Oversee personal injury case files from beginning to end

Qualifications

• Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law is mandatory
• Requires a bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree
• A minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is necessary
• Knowledge of personal injury law/tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is vital
• Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills are highly valued
