About the role

A growing and highly regarded plaintiff personal injury law firm in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Demand Writer to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong plaintiff PI experience who can take a case from completed treatment and supporting documentation and develop a compelling, comprehensive settlement demand designed to maximize case value. You'll work closely with attorneys, case managers, and the pre-litigation team on a diverse caseload of personal injury matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft persuasive and comprehensive personal injury settlement demands and demand packages.
• Review and analyze medical records, medical bills, treatment histories, accident reports, photographs, insurance information, and other case documentation.
• Develop clear narratives regarding liability, causation, injuries, treatment, and damages.
• Summarize complex medical treatment and terminology in a clear and persuasive manner.
• Calculate and present damages, including medical expenses, lost wages, future treatment, pain and suffering, and other economic and non-economic damages.
• Clearly communicate how injuries have impacted clients' work, daily activities, and overall quality of life.
• Ensure demand packages contain all necessary records, bills, evidence, and supporting documentation.

Pay

$50,000 - $80,000 per year
