About the Role
TopDog Law is a nationally scaling personal injury firm focused on impact and growth, offering a fully remote work environment. We're seeking an experienced attorney to join our team, helping injured clients get the compensation they deserve. This role is critical to our success, as it directly impacts case value, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Case Evaluation: Review and assess the merits of clients’ Personal Injury claims by analyzing records, documents, and evidence to determine liability and potential value.
- Legal Representation: Represent clients in Personal Injury matters, including filing claims, gathering evidence, negotiating settlements, and advocating for clients.
- Legal Strategy: Develop and implement effective strategies to protect clients’ rights and interests, including legal research, medical record analysis, and insurance negotiations.
- Client Communication: Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates, explaining legal processes, and advising on rights and options.
- Medical and Vocational Assessment: Collaborate with experts to evaluate injuries, work impacts, and future treatment needs.
- Case Management: Organize case files, track deadlines, coordinate with providers, and oversee legal/administrative tasks.
- Ethical Standards: Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable rules.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active admission to the North Carolina Bar.
- 5–10 years of Personal Injury law experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation, research, and writing skills.
- Ability to manage a high caseload independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of North Carolina laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Location in or near North Carolina.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Admission to North Carolina Federal Court districts.
- Experience in fast-growing or high-volume environments.
- Comfort with ambiguity and evolving systems.

Pay
Base Salary: $115,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience. Eligible for performance-based bonus.
