What You Will Do
- Lead and oversee a high-volume personal injury caseload
- Manage and guide case managers, paralegals, legal assistants, and attorneys
- Train team members on case handling, client communication, documentation, and legal strategy
- Provide direction and support when complex case issues arise
- Review case progress and help ensure files are moving toward resolution
- Manage cases from intake through settlement or litigation
- Communicate directly with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and internal team members
- Negotiate settlements and evaluate medical records, damages, liability, and case value
- Draft and review pleadings, demands, motions, and legal correspondence
- Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and litigation proceedings when applicable
- Provide strategic case evaluations and recommendations
- Help improve processes, team performance, and overall case management efficiency
What We Are Looking For
- Active Texas bar license required
- 4+ years of personal injury experience required
- Prior leadership, management, or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing or guiding case managers, paralegals, legal assistants, or attorneys
- Strong knowledge of personal injury case handling from intake through resolution
- Litigation experience preferred, but strong pre-litigation leaders will also be considered
- Ability to manage a high case volume efficiently
- Strong negotiation, communication, writing, and decision-making skills
- Comfortable training, mentoring, and supporting legal team members
- Organized and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Stable work history
