About the role

An award-winning boutique law firm in Austin is seeking a driven and curious attorney to join the growing firm. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a firm passionate about helping their clients in areas such as auto accidents, workplace injuries, premises liability, and wrongful death.

Responsibilities

This is a hands-on litigation role with your own designated docket from day one. Your docket will include:

• Drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Responding to and objecting to discovery
• Taking and defending depositions
• Conducting legal research
• Arguing motions in court
• Leading case strategy and investigations
• Collaborating across dockets
• Participating in trials
• Managing settlement disbursements

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• J.D. and active Texas bar license
• 1–3 years of litigation experience
• Personal injury background required
• Trial experience a plus, but not required
• Spanish fluency a plus, but not required
• Must reside in Austin or the surrounding area

Pay

The salary for this role is $120,000 - $135,000 per year
