Personal Fitness Trainer

About the role

We're looking for experienced Personal Fitness Trainers and Rehab Techs to join our dynamic team in Raleigh, NC. You'll work with senior patients to help them achieve their fitness goals and live their best lives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain membership for Legacy’s Wellness Program
• Perform and document StayFit services with residents following company's policy and procedures under guidance of the Rehabilitation Director/Area Rehab Director
• Provide personal fitness through Legacy’s StayFit program and complete required billing and documentation
• Deliver StayFit treatment plans in accordance with Legacy’s programs to improve health, fitness levels, and meet members' fitness goals
• Facilitate group fitness and wellness services through our LiveWell Program
• Maintain efficiency standards as set by the company
• Participate in department and facility meetings
• Market the StayFit program to increase membership

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc. (preferred)
• Nationally recognized and accredited personal training or group fitness certification (preferred or willingness to attain)
• One or more years of personal training or group fitness experience (preferred)
• Previous experience working with senior populations (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

Qualifications

• CPR/AED Certification must be current

• Ability to identify fitness goals and tailor exercise plans
• Knowledge of senior-specific fitness needs and challenges
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to motivate and educate clients on fitness and wellness

Pay

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements
