About the role

We're looking for a Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech who enjoys working with senior patients and helping them achieve their fitness goals. This position offers the chance to develop membership for our Wellness Program, perform StayFit services, and deliver group fitness and wellness services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain membership for Legacy’s Wellness Program
  • Perform and document StayFit services with residents following company's policy and procedures under guidance of the Rehabilitation Director/Area Rehab Director
  • Provide personal fitness through Legacy’s StayFit program and complete required billing and documentation
  • Deliver StayFit treatment plans in accordance with Legacy’s programs
  • Develop fitness plans to improve health, fitness levels, and meet members' fitness goals
  • Provide group fitness and wellness services through our LiveWell Program
  • Maintain efficiency standards as set by the company
  • Participate in department and facility meetings
  • Promote wellness, independence, and overall functionality among senior residents
  • Identify goals, deliver tailored exercise plans for personal fitness and group sessions in accordance with Legacy’s program structure
  • Aid in marketing the StayFit program to increase membership

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc. (preferred)
  • Nationally recognized and accredited personal training or group fitness certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
  • One plus year of personal training or group fitness experience (preferred)
  • Previous experience with senior population (preferred)
  • Customer service skills to deliver an exemplary experience
  • CPR/AED Certification must be current

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of senior health and wellness

Pay

USD $20.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.

Schedule

Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements
