Personal Fitness Trainer

About the role

We're looking for a Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech who enjoys working with senior patients and helping them achieve their fitness goals. This position offers the chance to develop and maintain membership for our Wellness Program, deliver StayFit services, and participate in various meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain membership for Legacy’s Wellness Program
• Perform and document StayFit services with residents following company's policy and procedures under guidance of the Rehabilitation Director/Area Rehab Director
• Provide personal fitness through Legacy’s StayFit program and complete required billing and documentation
• Deliver StayFit treatment plans in accordance with Legacy’s programs to improve health, fitness levels, and meet members' fitness goals
• Facilitate group fitness and wellness services through our LiveWell Program
• Maintain efficiency standards as set by the company
• Participate in department and facility meetings
• Identify and implement fitness goals for personal and group sessions
• Avoid marketing the StayFit program to increase membership

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc. (preferred)
• Nationally recognized and accredited personal training or group fitness certification (preferred or willingness to attain)
• One plus year of personal training or group fitness experience (preferred)
• Previous experience with senior population (preferred)
• Customer service skills to deliver an exemplary experience
• CPR/AED Certification must be current

• Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

Pay

$20.00 - $24.00 /Hr.

Schedule

Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements
