What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day budgeting, cash flow tracking, and bill/account monitoring.
- Track and report progress on debt payoff goals.
- Build and maintain financial trackers and reporting tools.
- Cookordination with the family's CPA on the overlap between personal and business finances.
- Monitor accounts and flag anything that needs attention before it becomes a problem.
- Keep all financial information strictly confidential.
Who You Are
- Solid, hands-on bookkeeping or financial-operations experience.
- Comfortable with tools like QuickBooks, Quicken, YNAB, or similar.
- Highly discreet. You understand the sensitivity of managing someone else's personal finances.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive about flagging issues early.
- Able to work independently with minimal oversight once systems are in place.
- Dallas-based preferred for occasional in-person meetings; open to strong remote candidates.
- Not a financial advisor or investment professional. This is a bookkeeping/operations role, not an advisory one.
Compensation & Logistics
- $40–$55/hour, based on experience.
- Part-time; weekly hours to be finalized based on candidate availability and family needs.
