About The Role

As a Life Enrichment Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Clients need full hands-on assistance with mobility while living independently with four friendly cats. We’re looking for a caregiver who can bring patience, organization, and warmth to this daily routine in a non-smoking home that currently needs improvement—a calm, patient, and proactive approach is key.

Schedule

Thursday 8 am–3 pm, Friday 8 am–12 pm, Saturday 8 am–12 pm, and Sunday 8 am–12 pm (19 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Provide full hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and use of appropriate equipment as needed.
• Help maintain and improve the condition of the home through light cleaning and organization.
• Support errands and transportation needs as part of fostering connections and independence.
• Offer emotional companionship, engaging conversation, and genuine empathy in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Female caregiver as requested by the client.
• Prior experience working with bed- and chair-ridden clients required.
• Ability to safely lift, support, and transition a client.
• Compassionate demeanor with strong communication and time-management skills.
