About the role
ExpertCare is looking for reliable, compassionate, and helpful Personal Care Assistants to work 1:1 with our Recipients. You will support, encourage, and help with skill building activities while also bringing them into the community to achieve their personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Support and encourage Recipients in their daily activities
- Help build and maintain Recipients' skills and independence
- Encourage Recipients to participate in community activities
- Work independently to follow care plans
- Provide transportation to and from assignments as needed
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
- Reliable transportation to and from assignments
- Able to pass required background checks and screenings
- Must be 18 years or older
