About the Role
We’re seeking a Personal Care Assistant who embodies our values to join our team and make a meaningful difference in someone’s life each day. Female caregiver preferred; any race or nationality is acceptable.
The client lives in a cluttered home with a small friendly dog and smokes in the home, so comfort with pets and smoking-related conditions is important. The caregiver will also need to be willing to run errands and assist with housekeeping and laundry.
Client Overview
The client walks independently and has no recent falls but has significant back and shoulder pain and gets short of breath easily due to COPD. They can use the bathroom on their own and need some assistance with bathing for monitoring and safety purposes. A caregiver should stay close due to medical concerns while showering.
The client is easy-going, enjoys playing cards and listening to music, and would likely do best with a lighthearted, funny caregiver who can provide companionship as well as practical help. They live with their brother.

Requirements
- Prior caregiving experience preferred
- Must pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
