Personal Care Assistant PT 2nd Shift (One Day per Week)

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents' personal care needs are provided for with an emphasis on quality, compassion, and timeliness.
• Address residents' medical needs through the delivery of quality nursing care and reporting to the charge nurse.
• Maintain a physical environment in a clean, safe, and pleasant manner.
• Ensure the nutritional needs of residents are met in accordance with the established care plan and report to the appropriate director.
• Perform other related activities as assigned or requested.
• Ensure residents' medication needs are met.

Requirements

• Move (sit, stand, bend, and lift) intermittently throughout the workday.
• Lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Assist with the evacuation of residents.
• Read and write in the English language.
• Pass a background check and drug test.
• STNA certification not required but preferred; will state test if not certified.
