About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our assisted living team in Tennessee. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others, building meaningful relationships, and providing quality resident-centered care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Assist with meal service and feeding when needed
- Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Follow care plans and facility policies/procedures
- Document care provided accurately and timely
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
- CNA certification is a plus, but not required
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to pass background screening and meet state requirements
