- Personal Care Assistant / PCA

About the role

Griswold Home Care in Carlisle, MA is looking to hire a Spanish-speaking Personal Care Assistant / PCA/HHA/CNA to provide non-medical care and home companionship to senior clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful companionship and valuable caregiving assistance to senior clients within their homes.
• Assess and prioritize daily tasks, including preparing meals, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping duties.
• Assist with non-medical elderly care tasks such as feeding and bathing, always prioritizing the client's dignity and maintaining proper personal hygiene.
• Communicate proactively with the office about client needs and conditions, logging and submitting accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; 2+ years of home care experience is a plus; caring for a loved one counts!
• Commitment to providing compassionate elderly care
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Dependability and cheerful demeanor
