About The Role

You’ll play a meaningful role in helping our client maintain independence, dignity, and joy in daily living. The client is upbeat, enjoys friendly company, and loves sitting outside on the porch. Your presence and reliability will make a real difference in comfort, safety, and sense of companionship.

She lives with her daughter, who is usually home during caregiver hours but often naps due to poor nighttime sleep. The client uses a walker at all times and is currently in therapy to improve mobility.

Home environment details:

• Preferred caregiver gender: Female
• Language: Must speak English
• Smoking in home: No
• Pets in home: No
• Home environment: Clean
• Infestations: Mice were present previously; occasional mice may still be seen

Care Needs

• Showering/personal-care assistance
• Meal preparation and cooking
• Light housekeeping/cleaning
• Companionship and social engagement
• Transportation and errands, including medical appointments in Frankfort and Lawrenceburg
• A caregiver experienced in memory care
• Consistent, dependable attendance is especially important

• Female, English-speaking, reliable, and experienced in memory care
• Upbeat, lighthearted, warm, and companionable
• Comfortable spending time with and engaging older adults
• Able to assist safely with walker-based mobility and bathing
• Willing and able to drive clients to appointments and errands

Requirements

• Reliable transportation (for errands and appointments)
• Prior experience with senior care and memory support
• Ability to assist safely with bathing and home tasks
