Position Overview We’re seeking a compassionate, proactive, and dependable Personal Care Assistant to provide dedicated in-home support for an elderly client. This role is ideal for an experienced caregiver who thrives in an active, independent care setting and excels at managing daily routines with patience, focus, and professionalism. Responsibilities: Provide standby safety supervision during personal care routines (e.g., standing outside the door while the client showers to prevent falls). Prepare fresh daily homecooked meals according to the client’s preferences. Perform light housekeeping and keep actively engaged in maintaining a clean living space. Transport the client and run local errands, including doctor appointments. Foster a safe, comfortable, structured, and respectful home environment. Environment & Conditions: Clean, wellmaintained home. Smokefree home. No pets in the residence. Client is mobile using a cane but requires fallrisk supervision. Client lives alone. Ideal Candidate: Experienced in senior caregiving with strong patience, tact, and a calm, laidback personality. Proactive and taskoriented—prefers staying busy and focused throughout the shift. Maintains high workplace standards (strictly no cell phone or earbud usage while on duty). Female preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for errands and medical appointments.
