Essential Job Duties
- Provide personal care and assistance with ADLs (activities of daily living) to participants, including but not limited to escorting, toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, assisting with meals, laundry, etc.
- Observe activity on the day center floor to assure participant safety.
- Aid with meal service, ensuring participants receive the correct meals and assist with feeding when indicated.
- Assist participants with safe transfer in and out of their homes and act as medical escort on vehicles and to medical appointments as assigned.
- Maintain personal care supplies such as incontinence supplies and personal grooming items.
Job Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Bilingual in English and either Mandarin/Cantonese/Chinese
- Minimum of one year of experience providing personal care to the senior population
- CA Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire
- California Driving License and Proof of Insurance
- Eligible to work in the USA
Office Hours
Office Hours could be either 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM OR 08:30 AM to 04:30 PM depending on business needs.
