Golden Years ADHC is seeking compassionate Life Enrichment Specialists to deliver hands-on care and engagement for adult day healthcare participants in communities across Kentucky.

Client Caregiver Profile

• Caregiver preference: Female caregiver requested
• Smoking: Vaping occurs in the home
• Pets: No animals in the home
• Errands/travel: Caregiver may need to complete errands as needed and carry groceries into the home
• Home condition: Varies between clean, cluttered, and messy
• Infestations: No significant infestations reported; ants may be present near the front door
• Other household member: Client's mother also resides in the home
• Mobility: Client uses a lift chair and walker and generally tries to limit movement around the home

Preferred Caregiver Fit

The client would likely work best with an upbeat, friendly caregiver who has a sense of humor and is not overly directive. A caregiver should be comfortable engaging around the client's interests, including music, instruments, golf, gaming, and television. The client is not a good match for someone perceived as bossy, mean, or overly controlling.

Care Needs

Caregiver Responsibilities May Include:

• Light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishes
• Running errands and bringing groceries into the home
• Personal care support, including no-rinse shampoo
• Assistance with showering and dressing as needed
• Mobility-related support as appropriate, given the client's limited movement and use of a walker/lift chair

Pay

$18–$20.00 per hour, based on client need.

Schedule

Monday and Thursday 12pm-3pm (6 hours)
