Personal Care Aide - 12 hr. shifts

Overview

As a Personal Care Aide, you will be called to care when you're needed most. As part of Interim HealthCare, you'll support a full range of patient services to bring comfort and dignity to our clients.

Schedule

Monday 10 a.m.–10 p.m., Tuesday 8 a.m.–8 p.m., Friday 10 a.m.–10 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily hygiene activities, such as bathing, grooming, toileting, elimination, and nutritional intake.
• Help patients with daily living tasks, including light housekeeping, shopping, preparing meals, and grocery shopping.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Help patients navigate the healthcare system by scheduling appointments and communicating needs to the nursing team when appropriate.

Qualifications

• At least one (1) year of verifiable experience assisting patients with personal care.
• Attention to detail; ability to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient’s condition.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work location.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
