Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations of the Assisted Living Facility in accordance with current applicable Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations as directed by the policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the highest level of clinical delivery to the assisted living residents while concurrently being fiscally responsible.
  • Ensure competence of the clinical staff, appropriate staffing for patient care, and facilitate clinical program development.
  • Plan the appropriate utilization of resources, maintain or improve the work environment, and monitor and improve the quality and appropriateness of care.
  • Promote the assisted living facility through active involvement and participation in external and internal activities concerning health care services.

Requirements

  • Current Certified Personal Care Home Administrator Certification.
  • Minimum three (3) years of management experience in an Assisted Living Facility or equivalent setting required.
  • Knowledge of state regulations required.
  • Previous work experience with state and federal assisted living quality initiatives or equivalent required.

Qualifications

  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment preferred.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
