The Personal Banker (Member Service Representative II) position at SchoolsFirst FCU is dedicated to providing world-class member service and promoting credit union products and services. Responsibilities

  • Provides world class member service to members visiting branch/service center locations.
  • Promotes credit union products and services to build relationships.
  • Processes transactions in areas such as savings, loans, and auxiliary credit union services.
  • Performs various file maintenance tasks, including processing requests for address changes, check orders, and ATM card orders.
  • Assists with morning and evening branch preparations and other teammember needs.
  • Maintains cash and negotiables.
  • Provides suggestions for improving department and credit union operations.
  • Processes new memberships, additional share accounts, savings services, and consumer loan requests.
  • Researches and resolves Member account issues.
  • Delivers world class face-to-face service to Members requesting account assistance.
  • Provides consultative services to Members regarding credit union products and services.
  • Supports teammembers by answering questions, resolving issues, and training/coaching them.
  • Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, and scheduling expenditures.
  • Contributes to organizational goals and priorities as part of the management team.
  • Evaluates operating procedures and policies to ensure high levels of member service, productivity, and internal control.
  • Initiates, researches, coordinates, and implements projects to benefit Members, internal teammembers, or department operations.
  • Ensures compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements, including BSA regulations.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • One to three years of prior related experience are preferred.
  • A Notary License is required.
  • Participation in the CA DMV pull program may be required depending on assignment.

Benefits

Typical new hire salaries fall within the range of $24.56 - $35.62 per hour. The exact salary will depend on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
