Responsibilities
- Provides world class member service to members visiting branch/service center locations.
- Promotes credit union products and services to build relationships.
- Processes transactions in areas such as savings, loans, and auxiliary credit union services.
- Performs various file maintenance tasks, including processing requests for address changes, check orders, and ATM card orders.
- Assists with morning and evening branch preparations and other teammember needs.
- Maintains cash and negotiables.
- Provides suggestions for improving department and credit union operations.
- Processes new memberships, additional share accounts, savings services, and consumer loan requests.
- Researches and resolves Member account issues.
- Delivers world class face-to-face service to Members requesting account assistance.
- Provides consultative services to Members regarding credit union products and services.
- Supports teammembers by answering questions, resolving issues, and training/coaching them.
- Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, and scheduling expenditures.
- Contributes to organizational goals and priorities as part of the management team.
- Evaluates operating procedures and policies to ensure high levels of member service, productivity, and internal control.
- Initiates, researches, coordinates, and implements projects to benefit Members, internal teammembers, or department operations.
- Ensures compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
- Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements, including BSA regulations.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- One to three years of prior related experience are preferred.
- A Notary License is required.
- Participation in the CA DMV pull program may be required depending on assignment.
Benefits
Typical new hire salaries fall within the range of $24.56 - $35.62 per hour. The exact salary will depend on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
