About the role
Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for their National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. This position offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships through proactive outreach and propose appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially.
- Aid customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
- Assist in the development of understanding of bank products and services to connect to customers' needs.
- Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships.
- Provide appropriate options for bank products and services to customers.
- Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed.
Requirements
- 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Qualifications
- Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
- Proactive engagement with customers through outreach via phone or email.
- Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options.
- Help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members as appropriate.
- Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs.
- Ability to foster and develop strong customer relationships.
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
- Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members.
- Relevant military experience including working with military protocol and instructions, enlisted evaluations, officer/leadership reporting, personnel benefits management, processing military personnel orders or transitions, wartime readiness operations, human resources, or military recruiting.
- Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Support customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints.
Job Expectations
- Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
- Maintain cash drawer, cash handling and balancing and spend time completing service-related tasks as needed.
- This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment.
