About the role
The Person in Charge Disability Services will lead the provision of disability services in the assigned area. They will ensure that the services meet the needs of the individuals they support and comply with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation and delivery of disability services within the assigned area.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and service standards.
- Manage staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality services.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct regular reviews of service provision to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant field such as social work, psychology, or disability studies.
- At least 3 years’ experience working in disability services.
- Experience leading and managing teams.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and service standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Registered Social Worker (RSW).
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
- Registered General Nurse (RGN).
- Other relevant qualifications.
Skills
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Good understanding of disability issues and support needs.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay
Salary range: €33,710 - €41,290 per annum.
