About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Disability Services to support students in creating an accessible learning environment. This role is part of a larger team that promotes holistic support for academic, social, physical, and mental wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state disability laws.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide accommodations and resources to students with disabilities.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans for students with disabilities.
  • Provide training and consultation to faculty and staff on disability-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to disability services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and four years of progressively responsible relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of disability laws and regulations.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
