About the role

UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Residential DSPs (Direct Care Professionals) for a part-time position. As a Direct Care Provider, your work will make a difference in people's lives 365 days a year.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks
• Assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities
• Follow medical orders and administer medications
• Provide choices to clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings

Requirements

• High School diploma or its equivalent (GED)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Successfully complete and maintain assigned driver's training
• A minimum of one weekend shift per weekend
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Computer proficiency
• Reliable transportation
• Must complete 5-7 days of mandatory training at the corporate office (Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM - 4:15 PM; training is paid)

Pay

$21.00/hour

Schedule

• Thursday: 11PM - 9AM
• Saturday: 3PM - 10PM
• Sunday: 3PM - 11PM
• 25 hours weekly
• All UCP Heartland schedules/shifts are awake shifts
