Requirements

  • You are a degreed professional with a background in Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • You are an experienced permitting expert with 7+ years supporting EPC, construction, or energy infrastructure projects.
  • You are deeply knowledgeable in federal, state, and local permitting processes, codes, and regulations (EPA, FEMA, DOT, TCEQ, local jurisdictions, utilities, etc.).
  • You are skilled at identifying AHJs and managing complex, multi-jurisdictional permitting for large-scale projects.
  • You are a strong project manager who can prioritize, organize, and drive multiple permitting workflows simultaneously.
  • You are an effective communicator who builds strong relationships with agencies, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • You are proficient in interpreting technical drawings, regulatory requirements, and permit conditions with accuracy.
  • You are adept at using permitting databases, tracking systems, and document management tools to maintain visibility and control.

Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • You have 7+ years of experience in permitting, preferably in EPC, construction, or energy infrastructure projects.
  • You have a strong understanding of federal, state, and local permitting processes, codes, and regulations.
  • You have experience working with AHJs and managing complex, multi-jurisdictional permitting.
  • You have excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • You have experience interpreting technical drawings, regulatory requirements, and permit conditions.
  • You have experience using permitting databases, tracking systems, and document management tools.

Pay

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $82,200 to $157,600. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

This is a full-time position based in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States of America.
