Position Summary
The Permit Coordinator at Erie Home is responsible for managing permits for Leaf Home projects. Key responsibilities include researching local municipality requirements, coordinating compliance, executing permits, and maintaining documentation in compliance management systems.
Responsibilities
- Research local municipalities for permit requirements based on scheduled work types.
- Systematically document municipality permit requirements for future reference.
- Coordinate permit compliance based on submission method.
- Execute, submit, monitor, and conclude permits with full documentation history.
- Identify and document all applicable attributes for current and future compliance.
- Foster relationships with local code officials for clear communication.
- Process and manage HOA approvals.
- Schedule plumbing jobs as needed (may be requested).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of administrative experience.
- Exceptional research, reading, and assessment skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Licensed to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Or Certifications
- General knowledge of contractor licenses, home improvement, and dwelling components.
- Familiarity with local governing entities such as counties, cities, villages, and townships.
Physical Requirements
Normal office environment. Sedentary work involving sitting most of the time, occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds.
Travel Requirements
No travel required.
Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements
May be requested to work overtime on evenings and weekends dependent on business need.
