Permanent Substitute Teacher
Salary: $175/day, no benefits
Appropriate NYS certification required: Art

Responsibilities

• Teach art classes to students in secondary and elementary settings.
• Adhere to curriculum guidelines and lesson plans provided by the district.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development opportunities as needed.

Requirements

• Valid New York State teaching certification in Art.
• Experience in teaching art at the secondary or elementary level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of current educational technology and resources.

Skills

• Effective classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse student needs.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for instruction.
