Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a 110-bed skilled nursing facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This permanent opportunity offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend rotation, making it an excellent fit for an OT who values meaningful patient care and a strong work-life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional goals
  • Provide skilled OT interventions to improve independence and quality of life
  • Address activities of daily living, functional mobility, strength, coordination, and other areas affecting patient independence
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, and other interdisciplinary team members
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies
  • Participate in care planning and contribute to positive patient outcomes
  • Follow facility policies, clinical standards, and applicable regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current Colorado Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure
  • Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
  • Caregiver-centered approach to care
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • SNF experience is preferred but not required

New Graduate Compensation

The $42–$47/hour range is provided for the position, while compensation for new graduates will be determined based on their education, qualifications, clinical experience, and overall level. Each new graduate will be individually reviewed to ensure their compensation appropriately reflects their background.
