Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize therapeutic techniques, adapt environments, and modify tasks to overcome barriers to independence.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to optimize care outcomes.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, therapies, and strategies for continued progress outside the clinical setting.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Work Environment

  • Work in diverse settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, or patients' homes.
  • Engage in a dynamic environment that may require standing for extended periods or assisting clients with mobility challenges.
