Perishable Associate

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt customer service.
• Absorb and assist customers with locating products and answering questions.
• Create an enjoyable shopping experience by maintaining clean, organized departments.
• Stock, rotate, merchandising, and maintain products to the highest standards of quality and food safety.
• Work in multiple areas of the department as business needs require.

Requirements

• Previous retail, grocery, warehouse, food service, or stocking experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work in refrigerated and freezer environments.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Push and pull loaded carts and pallets.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.
• Work comfortably in refrigerated coolers and freezer environments.
