Perioperative Care Technician

Position Overview

The Perioperative Care Technician assists the Physicians and Registered Nurses within Surgical Services pursuant to the objectives and policies of CMHs. To facilitate a smooth transition between surgical procedures and assist nursing staff in the maintenance of a clean environment.

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• One (1) year prior work experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• PREFERRED: Undergraduate degree
• PREFERRED: Completion of a Medical Terminology course
• PREFERRED: Bilingual in Spanish
• PREFERRED: Previous health care experience

Pay

Salary Range $24.75 - $27.85 per hour. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.
