– Perinatal High Risk OB/GYN 3-1200 – LPN 2, Inpatient

Job Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, New York, United States of America, 14642

Full-time, regular position – 36 scheduled weekly hours, rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Remain accountable for provision of direct care to assigned patients in an inpatient setting.
• Contribute to unit activities and support enhancement of the care delivery system.
• Work as a team member and assist other staff members with implementing patient care.
• Assume responsibility for care of assigned patients under the direction of the co-assigned RN or MD.
• Participate in the plan of care, implement appropriate nursing interventions, and contribute to patient/family education through collection of data, interdisciplinary team collaboration, documentation, and excellent communication.
• In conjunction with the RN team, provide direct patient care to moderate-high risk antepartum and postpartum women, as well as women experiencing gynecologic surgery.
• Commit to customer-focused, family-centered care with a strong emphasis on patient/family teaching.
• Demonstrate good clinical competence, interpersonal skills, strong prioritization, and organizational skills.

Requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience in a relevant nursing role.
• Active LPN licensure.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $27.75 – $37.46 per hour. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within this range, considering factors such as market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity.
