Position Description

Key Qualifications

  • One to two years of professional experience working for a theater, repertory, or stock company engaged in the applicable production specialty such as stage and set construction & rigging, lighting production, and/or sound/audio production.
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Knowledge of Google Suite, Zoom, and PeopleSoft preferred.
  • The incumbent must successfully complete a pre-placement exam.

Salary and Benefits

This is a part time, temporary, non-exempt position. The CSU Classification Step Range for this position is $21.47 - $31.27 an hour (step 1 - step 20). Step placement will be determined based on relevant qualifications and professional experience. Step placement upon appointment is not expected to exceed Step 8 ($24.66). Reappointment to this position is dependent upon the individual's performance as well as administrative and budgetary considerations.
