Job Description
The Performing Arts Center Technician is responsible for maintaining and operating the technical equipment in the school’s performing arts center. This includes but is not limited to lighting, sound, and projection systems.
- Maintain and operate technical equipment such as lighting, sound, and projection systems.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly before performances.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with performers, directors, and other technicians to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should have a strong background in audiovisual technology and experience working in a high school setting.
- Experience with lighting, sound, and projection systems.
- Knowledge of audiovisual equipment and its operation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
