12-month contract role; H-1B, H-4 EAD, or US Citizenship required (GC EAD / GC also considered). Mandatory: at least one prior project in New York State.
About the role
We are seeking a Performance Tester with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience to join a premium client engagement.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality-assurance tasks across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and execute comprehensive software test plans and test scenarios.
- Conduct functional testing using industry-standard functional testing tools.
- Design, implement, and analyze performance and stress tests using dedicated performance-testing tools.
- Execute manual test cases where automation is not feasible.
- Log, track, and manage defects using defect-management platforms.
Requirements
- 7+ years of direct experience in software testing.
- Hands-on experience with HP Quality Center.
- Hands-on experience with Redmine.
