Performance Tester

Key Responsibilities

Lead the performance testing team in the planning design and execution of performance test cases and scenarios
Collaborate with development and product teams to understand system architecture identify critical performance KPIs and establish performance benchmarks
Develop comprehensive performance test plans and strategies that cover load stress endurance and scalability testing
Select and implement appropriate performance testing tools and frameworks
Execute performance tests monitor system performance and analyse results to identify bottlenecks and issues
Provide detailed performance test reports and recommendations for performance improvements
Mentor and train team members on performance testing best practices and tools
Manage the performance testing environment ensuring that it is properly configured and maintained for accurate testing

Required Skillset

6+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering
Strong knowledge of performance testing principles methodologies and tools eg LoadRunner JMeter
Experience with performance monitoring and profiling tools
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages commonly used in performance testing eg Java Python C
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies eg Docker Kubernetes
Familiarity with CICD pipelines and DevOps practices
