Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination, integration, and implementation of organization-wide performance improvement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Perform chart reviews and data abstraction for CMS Core Measures and other quality outcomes studies.
  • Provide staff education regarding core measures and updates on new and enhanced indicators.
  • Work with the VP to research and develop quality and value-based care initiatives across the system.
  • Communicate the strategic vision and mission of the organization.
  • Conduct data analysis to track and trend quality metrics fallouts.
  • Compile quality, financial, and operational performance data (cost and effectiveness) to improve healthcare delivery.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive improvements within the company.
  • Support service line development and assess the competitive marketplace, including needs assessment, health trends, service line management, health policy, and management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
  • Certification in a healthcare field preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access).
  • Experience in reviewing charts for care issues.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases, directions, and follow-through.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Medical Staff communication.
  • Exceptional interpersonal relationship skills and professional work ethics.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, database management, and typing.
