Performance Engineer

About the role

This position requires a strong background in technical and functional skills, particularly in performance testing and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Work within SDLC/TDLC environments
• Lead testing efforts in the Performance testing/Engineering discipline
• Manage on-site/offshore projects, especially those involving the utility industry and ADMS
• Implement and manage performance test processes, methodologies, and tools
• Develop and maintain performance testing and automation tools like LoadRunner, Jmeter, Neoload, and others
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality assurance in web and mobile applications
• Use coding languages such as Java, Python, and other relevant languages
• Analyze and present performance testing data through metrics and dashboards
• Utilize defect management tools and performance engineering and monitoring tools like AppDynamics, CloudWatch, SOAP UI, Postman, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
• Conduct API REST/SOAP testing and utilize related tools
• Participate in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in technical roles
• Minimum 6 years of testing experience, specifically in Performance testing/Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in an onsite-offshore model
• Deep knowledge of utility industry and ADMS
• Strong understanding of performance test methodologies, tools, and web/mobile applications
• Hands-on experience with performance testing and automation tools
• Expertise in metrics gathering and report creation
• Experience with various performance engineering and monitoring tools
• Proficiency in at least one coding language
• Experience with CI/CD and related tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

Pay

$100,000 - $115,000 annually
