About the role
This position requires a strong background in technical and functional skills, particularly in performance testing and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Work within SDLC/TDLC environments
- Lead testing efforts in the Performance testing/Engineering discipline
- Manage on-site/offshore projects, especially those involving the utility industry and ADMS
- Implement and manage performance test processes, methodologies, and tools
- Develop and maintain performance testing and automation tools like LoadRunner, Jmeter, Neoload, and others
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality assurance in web and mobile applications
- Use coding languages such as Java, Python, and other relevant languages
- Analyze and present performance testing data through metrics and dashboards
- Utilize defect management tools and performance engineering and monitoring tools like AppDynamics, CloudWatch, SOAP UI, Postman, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
- Conduct API REST/SOAP testing and utilize related tools
- Participate in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in technical roles
- Minimum 6 years of testing experience, specifically in Performance testing/Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in an onsite-offshore model
- Deep knowledge of utility industry and ADMS
- Strong understanding of performance test methodologies, tools, and web/mobile applications
- Hands-on experience with performance testing and automation tools
- Expertise in metrics gathering and report creation
- Experience with various performance engineering and monitoring tools
- Proficiency in at least one coding language
- Experience with CI/CD and related tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

$100,000 - $115,000 annually
