About the role

The selected applicant will be responsible for software development, performance analysis, and technical collaboration. This role involves developing post-processing analysis tools, tracking system development updates, and translating analysis findings into actionable development tasks for the C2BMC system.

Responsibilities

  • Develop ad-hoc post-processing analysis tools and plots to assess and analyze C2BMC performance, preferably using Java, Python, or MATLAB.
  • Track C2BMC development updates and perform analysis to detect regressions after code changes.
  • Collaborate across teams to perform deep-dive analysis of C2BMC performance using established metrics to determine system efficacy.
  • Act as the technical liaison between analysts and developers, translating analysis findings into concrete development tasks.
  • Create and present analysis documents and briefs for internal and external leadership to assess C2BMC performance.

Requirements

  • Experience: Generally has 3+ years of related experience. Relevant applied experience in Software Engineering is required.
  • Technical Skills: Programming languages including Java, C++, Python, database management, networking, or data communications.
  • Experience producing tooling and products to assist with the analysis or assessment of a system or project, preferably in Java and Python.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Qualifications

  • Experience with DevOps-related tooling (e.g., Jenkins, HTCondor, GitLab) is desired.
  • Familiarity with applying statistical distributions in hypothesis testing, model validation, and inferential statistics is preferred.
  • Experience with performing systems engineering for defense information systems is desirable.
  • Experience with creating and briefing chart packages for tooling or analysis performed.
  • Familiarity with modern computing hardware (servers, storage, VMs), architecture, and network practices.
