SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The Performance Assessment Engineer supports system performance analysis and evaluation for the program. This role involves developing analysis tools, tracking program development updates, analyzing results for regressions, conducting in-depth performance analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and creating analysis documentation and briefing materials.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in software engineering and development
- Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or similar languages
- Experience with database management, networking, or data communications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Experience developing tools and products to support system analysis or assessment, preferably using Java or Python
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, HTCondor, GitLab, or similar
- Knowledge of statistical analysis methods, including hypothesis testing, model validation, inferential statistics, confidence intervals, and goodness-of-fit interpretation
- Experience with systems engineering for Department of Defense information systems
- Experience creating and presenting analytical reports or briefing packages
- Familiarity with modern computing environments, including servers, storage, virtual machines, and network architecture
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience
- Master's degree with 1+ years of experience

PAY RANGE
$105,000 to $122,400
