About the role
The Performance Architect serves as a strategic, consultative partner to the dealerships served by Numa. This role connects Numa's platform to each customer's core business goals and translates performance data into measurable outcomes, retention, and expansion.
Responsibilities
- Build strategic partnerships with dealership GMs and leadership teams, earning trust through insight, credibility, and results
- Tie Numa’s platform to business goals such as profit, team productivity, and customer satisfaction (CSI)
- Lead executive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) that align teams and create forward-looking action plans
- Deliver dealership-specific performance insights that are actionable, impactful, and aligned with local priorities
- Create and manage 90-day engagement plans that drive measurable outcomes
- Guide strategic reviews and tailor action plans based on real-time performance metrics and dealership priorities
- Elevate Numa from a vendor to a strategic partner that leadership relies on for results
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Sales to shape tools, playbooks, and best practices that elevate client success
- Travel onsite to dealerships as needed to deepen relationships and drive engagement
Requirements
- Deep experience in automotive, including time on both the dealer and vendor side
- Experience as a former General Manager, Fixed Operations Director, or similar leadership role within a dealership
- Proven ability to run and grow a service department, including driving profitability and customer satisfaction
- Confidence working with executive stakeholders and leading data-driven performance conversations
- Strong ability to connect software solutions to operational KPIs and business goals
- Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter, taking ownership of relationships and outcomes end-to-end and proactively driving results with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align both frontline and executive audiences
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative mindset and passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and measurable business impact
Nice to have
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment, with comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS), CRM platforms, and service operations workflows
- Experience with data analysis, performance reporting, or business intelligence tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Microsoft Power BI
- Familiarity with AI tools and effective prompt engineering for research, analysis, or workflow optimization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or related field
- Experience with AI tools and effective prompt engineering for research, analysis, or workflow optimization

Pay
$105,000 - $125,000 base salary + bonus

Standard business hours, aligned to assigned dealership accounts and time zones
