The Performance Analysis Intern is responsible for supporting the delivery of performance analysis services within NYCFC’s Academy.

Training: film, code and database daily training sessions as requested.
Produce biweekly and monthly training reports.
Pre & Post Match: create and organize analysis' support assets e.g. folder structures, reports templates, etc.
Match day: film and basic code Academy games when required.
Contribute to the overall wider working and development of the Academy program.
Ensure the operational requirements, such as uploading game footage to the correct platforms, are fulfilled as per deadline requirements.
Attend all Academy, and other, meetings as requested.
Other duties as assigned

Must have good knowledge of soccer – either as former player, coach or similar.
Must have proficient computer literacy skills and ability to assimilate new software and processes quickly.
Familiarity with major Performance Analysis software (Sportscode, Match Analysis, Prozone, Hudl, Taka), Microsoft software (Excel, Powerpoint) and Mac software (Keynote, iBooks Author) strongly preferred.
Familiarity and experience filming sporting events (ideally soccer) from a coaching perspective is preferred.
Must have flexibility to work differing hours on a weekly basis (including evening and weekends) – as agreed each week – depending on the game and schedule of First and Academy Team.
Must be able to commit to working for the full duration of the Academy Season (August-May).
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey messages to colleagues, coaches and players.

Applicant must be able to comply with applicable child safety policies provided to applicants by NYCFC.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
