Per Diem Videographer-Producer-Editor - Dermatology
About the Role
The Per Diem Videographer/Producer/Editor shoots, produces, and edits content for the Department of Marketing and Communications at the Mount Sinai Health System. This individual collaborates with multidisciplinary departments and coordinates with the Senior Director of Media, Senior Creative Director, Media Director, and Vice President of Marketing and Communications to support their respective missions, ensuring a consistent message to the public about the institution's mission, vision, and values in the global community.
Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Marketing, Communications, and Media Relations departments, including Digital & Social Media, produce, light, shoot, and edit content that supports the mission of the Mount Sinai Health System.
- Produce quality videos that represent Mount Sinai’s brand and voice.
- Complete assignments in a timely manner and prepare content for final release.
- Oversee, develop, and provide support for video studio production efforts for internal stakeholders of the Mount Sinai Health System.
- Communicate and schedule video projects with stakeholders and serve as a liaison between studio vendors and stakeholders.
- Supervise additional editing by other individuals or vendors.
- Assist in the creation of scripts, storyboards, b-roll, and other video production assets in collaboration with content experts and stakeholders.
- Evaluate and improve video studio procedures and guidelines in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
- Monitor and maintain video studio equipment and software.
- Perform other related duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in editing with Adobe Premiere, Avid, and Creative Cloud Suite (greater experience preferred).
- Proficient with project planning, lighting, shooting, and post-production.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and specific editing workflows.
- Self-motivated to complete tasks on time.
- Able to shoot with DSLRs and Sony CCD cameras (preferred).
- Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format and build and maintain relationships.
- Team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $50 - $50 hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
