Per Diem Social Service Counselor (Bergen County)

Responsibilities

• Provides consumers with daily supervision, supportive counseling, and assistance with their activities of daily living skills
• Observes consumers self-administer their prescribed medication and provides daily medication education
• Facilitates social, recreational, and therapeutic activities with consumers
• Utilizes crisis intervention skills as required

Qualifications

• BSW in social work
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field with two years of previous experience
• AAS degree in a related field with two years of previous experience
• Previous experience desired
• Valid Driver’s License
